ABOUT

New to DCC

The first thing you’ll notice when you arrive at DCC is that we’re tucked away on a quiet side street. Aside from our sign and large front windows, the building blends right into the neighborhood — it feels more like a home than a traditional church.

We don’t have a parking lot. Street parking is available directly in front of the church and along Allison St. If you park on Dunklee St., just be mindful of nearby driveways, especially during the winter.

When you walk through the front door, the sanctuary is immediately to your right. Sit wherever you’d like — there’s no assigned seating. You’ll quickly notice the space feels more like a living room than a formal sanctuary.

Our service begins with a reading of Scripture, followed by worship. We usually sing four to five songs, but we stay sensitive to the leading of the Holy Spirit. Worship is personal — some stand, some sit, some raise their hands, and some move freely. You’ll likely see Apostle Jim doing the same.

After worship, Apostle Jim will share what the Lord has placed on his heart during that time. Then we come forward together — just follow the flow — to present our offerings and receive communion. He’ll lead us through communion and open the floor for anyone who wants to share a testimony from the week.

After that, the message is preached.

When the service concludes, we close in prayer. We don’t have a formal altar call, but there is always space for prayer. If you’d like personal prayer or quiet time with the Lord, you’re welcome to sit in the front row near the communion table. Apostle Jim and our leaders are always available to pray with you.

If you have any questions or need anything at all, just reach out. We’re here to walk with you.

What We Believe About Today’s Issues

Every generation faces questions that test truth, identity, and courage. We believe that the Spirit of God still speaks to His Ekklesia, revealing how eternal Kingdom principles apply within the shifting tides of culture. These papers are not political manifestos but prophetic clarifications—voices of conviction anchored in Scripture and breathed by the Spirit of Truth.

Destiny Christian Church stands as a Five-fold Kingdom Community devoted to manifesting the life of Christ in every sphere of society. We affirm that biblical truth is timeless, that conscience and worship belong to God alone, and that righteousness, mercy, and justice flow from His throne—not from human institutions.

In these writings we address key issues of our day—life, justice, marriage, identity, and liberty—not with any hostility towards humanity, but with loving hope for its redemption. Our aim is to call the remnant to live as new-creation beings, walking in oneness with the Father, revealing His image, and demonstrating His Kingdom on earth as it is in heaven.
