New to DCC

The first thing you will discover as you arrive at DCC is we are located on a side street. Other than the sign out front and our big front windows we look like just any home in our neighborhood. You will also notice that we do not have a parking lot. There is on street parking right in front of the church and along Allison St. When you park on Dunklee St. just be aware of our neighbor's ability to get in or out of their driveways - especially in the winter.

When you enter through the front door, the sanctuary is to your right. Feel free to sit where ever you like. You will notice that we are pretty casually dressed. Our sanctuary looks similar to a home living room.

Our service begins with our worship leader reading scripture. We typically will sing 4-5 worship songs, but are always open to the leading of the Holy Spirit. Feel free to worship in the manner you choose. Some will raise their hands. Some will stand while others will sit. Some may even walk around - you will typically see apostle Jim walking around.

After worship, apostle Jim will come forward and pray or share what the Lord spoke to him during worship. After that we will come up front - just follow the crowd - to place our offering unto God in the offering plate - and to receive our communion elements. Apostle Jim will lead us in communion - then will typically ask for testimonies of what the Lord has done in your life over the past week. Once that is done - A.J. will begin to preach.

Once the sermon is over - A.J. will close in prayer. We typically do not have a traditional altar call that you may have noticed in other churches. After the closing prayer - you may come forward to receive prayer from A.J. or pray by yourself. The first row of chairs by the communion table is where you can sit to pray or receive prayer. Apostle Jim is always available to pray with / for you.
